The talented and exciting British string quartet covers Radiohead’s seminal album “Kid A”.

“We don’t play tunes, we play albums.” And not just any album. Radiohead’s “Kid A”, a cult record that will forever haunt the history of global pop, will be covered with praise by the conquering yet respectful bows of Wooden Elephant. The choice of Radiohead wasn’t left to chance: part of the ensemble had already rubbed shoulders with the band’s guitarist J. Greenwood, at the Victoria Hall in 2015 for Antigel. Still, digesting a masterpiece to bring it back to life with the strings of a classical ensemble is certainly daring. And they’ll certainly need a fair amount of respect for taking on such a discographic beast.
